Review of Works

Debbie is known for her use of rich and novel color paletes and textures. She has a large repertoire of pieces, each developed over the course of months or years. No two pieaces of work are similar. Debbie experiments with new mediums and subjects each time she procuces a new piece.

Many of Debbie's pieces are in art collecter's homes in the U.S. and overseas. Her pieces are available for purchase in the Works section of the Web site or you can request a commisioned piece.

About Debbie

Debbie Tesch is an artist of varied talents and influences. She got her start studying art and art history at the Twin Cities Campus of the University of Minnesota. After graduating from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts, she has been involved in diverse creative work ever since. Her works are held by collectors in the United States and Europe.

She has studied with professional artists such as Watercolorists, Charles Reid and France- Marie Haeger; Plein-Air Painting with Carol Cottoni-Koltoff; Drawing with Jim Machacek; and Acrylic Painting with Elizabeth Washburn. She works in various mediums including, pastel, watercolor, acrylic, gouache and collage.

Debbie lives with her two kids in San Diego, Ca and is an active member of La Jolla Art Association.
